Conclusion of two-year-long celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As all of you must be aware that during past two years, a long chain of events were organized by Government of India through its Embassies/Consulates worldwide celebrating 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The two-year-long celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi will be concluding on his upcoming date of birth i.e. 02 October 2020.

In view of the ongoing COVID-19 scenario, the Embassy intends to celebrate the concluding fest of this long series of events virtually, in order to maintain the social distancing.

For this proud occasion, the interested members of Indian community and lovers of India and Mahatma Gandhi in Czech Republic are requested to share their kind views/thoughts on "Mahatma Gandhi and relevance of his ideas in the present global perspective" as a video clip of three-four minutes. Your valuable words on the Mahatma will be a precious record for the Embassy and may be utilized on Embassy's social media platforms while commemorating the upcoming birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
