Advisory for Indian nationals whose visa expired after 12 March 2020

 

  • All Indian nationals residing in Czech Republic, whose Czech/Schengen visa are expired and who could not travel to India back due to non-availability of flights, are advised to follow the procedure for legalization of their stay in Czech Republic beyond 16 July 2020, as prescribed by Czech Ministry of Interior. Detailed information is given on the website of Czech MoI at the following link:

  •  As per the MoI’s instructions, all Indian nationals who are unable to arrange travel to India until July 16th, 2020 due to absence of air connections, has to visit Department of Residential Agendas of Foreign Police (address given on the above-link) until July 16th, 2020.
  • While visiting the Foreign Police, the individual has to show the proof of non-existence of an air connection by a confirmation from the Embassy. In this regard, all concerned Indian nationals are hereby informed that they may collect such confirmation from the Indian Embassy, Prague, if required.
  • For collection of the above-cited confirmation certificate, one has to approach the Consular Section of the Embassy on a working day between 0930 and 1200, along with his/her Passport.
