Advisory related to COVID-19, for Foreign Nationals’ travel to India



  • All existing visas issued to nationals of any country except those issued to Diplomats, Officials, UN/International organizations, Employment, Project visas stand suspended till May 03, 2020. The suspended visas will be valid (in terms of their usual validity conditions) once the temporary suspension is over.
  • All incoming passenger traffic into India through any Indian Immigration Check Posts shall remain suspended till May 03, 2020. However, no such restriction would apply to vehicles, planes, ships, conveyance, trains, etc. carrying any goods and supplies whether essential or non-essential. Their crew, sailor, driver, helper, cleaner, etc. shall be subjected to thorough medical screening for COVID-19.
