Advisory for Indian nationals on validity of Czech/Schengen visa while travelling by special flights from Frankfurt/Paris
- Czech Government has declared that all foreigners who were legally staying in the state territory at the moment of declaration of the emergency in Czech Republic, are allowed to remain legally in the territory till 16 July 2020. The Government has also stated that upon leaving the territory, Czech Police at the borders will enter a special stamp in such foreign national’s travel document confirming that their stay in the territory was legal. All states that might be subject of transit for repatriation purposes have been requested to recognize this stamp and waive any administration sanctions and penalties on concerned persons.The same declaration by Czech Government may also be seen on the official website of Czech Ministry of Interior at the following link:
- Before leaving Czech Republic to catch the special flights under Vande Bharat Mission from Frankfurt or Paris, it is recommended to contact the nearest Department of Residential Agendas of the Foreign Police(address given on the above-link) during office hours to ask for the above-said stamp.
