Independence Day Celebration, August 15, 2020



In view of the guidelines of Government of India and Czech Government considering the recent pandemic situation, it has been decided to hold the Flag Unfurling Ceremony on the occasion of Independence Day on 15 August 2020 without congregation at the Embassy premises. 

2. However, in order to ascertain participation of Indian community in the National Day celebration, all interested ones are requested to share their individual/group performance with the Embassy. The performance must be in video format, not more than three minutes and be based on Independence Day theme. The video may be sent latest by 10 August 2020 at this email address: ga.prague@mea.gov.in. 

3. The Embassy would include some of those performances, in the video to be posted on Embassy’s official Youtube Channel, on account of Independence Day celebration 2020. 

4. Best wishes, in advance, from Indian Embassy to whole Indian community and lovers of India in Czech Republic, for 74th Independence Day of India.
