Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card -re-issue cases


As per the current procedure, the OCI card holders after issuance of new passport were required to get the new OCI card issued with details of new passport. In order to ease the travel of such OCI cards holders to India, the timeline for re-issue of OCI cards has been extended till 31 December 2021.


2. Henceforth, OCI card holder (bearing details of old passport) can travel to India only with new passport and OCI card, without carrying old passport.
