Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Republic of India on Exemption from Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic Passports

On 7th September 2018, an Agreement was signed between the two countries, which allows the diplomatic passport holders of both countries to enter in, exit from, stay in and transit through the territory of the other country, without visa and fees for a period not exceeding 90 days in any 180-day period. 

The Agreement shall come into force from 2nd December 2018

The Agreement is without prejudice to the maximum period of stay allowed in the territory of the member States under the Schengen Acquis. 

However, the diplomatic passport holders of both countries who are assigned as members of diplomatic Missions or Consular Posts as well as representatives of International Organisations, located in the territory of the other State, shall be required to obtain appropriate entry visa prior to their entry.
