Ambassador met H.E. Ms Alena Schillerová, Minister of Finance

            H.E. Mrs. Narinder Chauhan, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Czech Republic met H.E. Ms Alena Schillerová, Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic on 19 March, 2019.

2.         Both sides reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest. Both sides noted the heightened exchange of visits at the level of political leadership, including Indian President and Czech Prime Minister, and by business persons, and agreed on the need for vigorous follow up, including establishment of direct flights.

3.         Both sides discussed collaboration at Financial Action Task Force (FATF) with a view to curb terror financing.

4.         The Indian Ambassador and Czech Minister of Finance also agreed on the need for an expeditious conclusion of the India-EU Comprehensive Trade and Investment Agreement.

5.         Indian Ambassador invited Czech Finance Minister to visit India.
