Re-issuance of International Driving Permit

Indian nationals residing abroad may apply for re-issue of International Driving Permit (IDP) at the Embassy under miscellaneous consular service. The steps to be followed for application are as under:

The applicant has to apply for re-issue of International Driving Permit on SEWA portal at the following link: https://indianconsularservices.mea.gov.in/consularServices/ and then visit Embassy during Consular timing along with original passport, Driving License, visa/residence permit and the expired IDP at the Embassy.  The applicant fee for the service is  CZK 280/- (in cash).

A receipt/certificate will be issued by the Embassy after accepting the application. The applicant will, further, apply for fresh issue of IDP through the portal www.parivahan.gov.in   uploading the documents including the receipt issued by the Embassy and pay the requisite fee online on the web portal. (This fee is separate from the above mentioned service fee.)

On verifying the online application, the licensing authority in India will issue new IDP and will send by courier directly to the applicant’s address.
