1. Direct International Transit (Staying Airside)
Visa Not Required If:
You are transiting through India on your way to a third country and you:
Remain within the international transit area of the airport (do not clear immigration / do not enter India), and;
Have confirmed onward travel (tickets) to a third destination; and
Your connection is handled by the airline such that you do not have to reclaim and re-check your baggage.
Your ticket is booked under one PNR.

2. When a Visa / Entry Is Required
You DO need a visa if:
You must clear Immigration, for example to:
