The event was well attended by over 60 Indian and Czech companies, reflecting the growing momentum in bilateral industrial partnerships and immense potential that exists.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Konderlova Radka, Director General for Industrial Cooperation, Ministry of Defence of Czech Republic said that Czech companies are aware of huge market potential in India and they are eager to cooperate with the Indian industry. Mr. A. Anbarasu, Additional Secretary & DG (Acquisition), Ministry of Defence, India, gave an overview of India’s steps to modernize its defence industry and the opportunities it will create for different collaboration models.
Presentations by the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) and the Defence and Security Industry Association of Czech Republic highlighted key opportunities for cooperation. A B2B matchmaking session followed, enabling companies from both sides to explore practical partnerships.
The event witnessed signing of two MoUs between Indian and Czech defence firms, Česká zbrojovka with Vinveli India and Anablade with UGVR.
The seminar showcased the shared vision of and in advancing a stronger, self-reliant, and innovation-driven defence ecosystem.
