The 10th Ayurveda Day was celebrated at the Embassy of India premises. This year’s celebration was themed “Ayurveda for People and Planet”, reflecting how Ayurveda’s timeless wisdom offers not only personal well-being but also guidance for living in harmony with nature and fostering a sustainable future for our planet.
In his welcome remarks, Ambassador Raveesh Kumar touched upon the growing popularity of Ayurveda in Czechia and its relevance in today’s world.
In his presentation, Veda Chaitanya (Shri Ajay Bobade) – Founder & Head Teacher of Yoga Surya International School – delivered an insightful lecture on Ayurveda for Everyday Living, highlighting how its principles of balance can be applied in modern life to harmonize mind, body, and lifestyle.
MUDr. Santóš Rajpoot – Ayurveda University, Prague shared his expertise on the Ayurvedic approach to nutrition and digestion. Their talks were followed by an engaging Q&A session with the audience.
Adding a unique dimension to the celebration, attendees also had the opportunity to experience Nadi Tarangini “The Pulse of Progress”, an advanced diagnostic tool that measures the pulse (Nadi) to provide insights into one’s current health and well-being. This interactive experience was warmly welcomed by participants.
The event brought together members of the diplomatic community in the Czech Republic, along with Ayurveda practitioners and enthusiasts - an evening of knowledge, connection, and celebration of India’s heritage.
