Strengthening India–Czech cooperation in healthcare

Ambassador Raveesh Kumar met with Adam Vojtěch, Minister of Health of the Czech Republic, Ministerstvo zdravotnictví České republiky to discuss opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation in the healthcare sector.
The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, joint research and AI-driven healthcare solutions. Both sides acknowledged the significant potential for partnerships between Indian and Czech companies and institutions in these areas.
The possibility of organising a Roundtable on Cooperation in Healthcare sector later this year, bringing together stakeholders from government, industry, and academia to explore concrete avenues for collaboration was also discussed.
The meeting reinforced the growing importance of India–Czech collaboration in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and emerging medical technologies.
