Ambassador Raveesh Kumar called on Tomio Okamura, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, for a productive exchange on advancing India–Czechia relations. The discussions focused on enhancing parliamentary cooperation and further strengthening the growing partnership between the two countries in trade & investment, higher education and people-to-people ties. They also exchanged views on regional and global developments, including the importance of the proposed India–EU Free Trade Agreement in unlocking new opportunities for trade, investment, and economic cooperation.
